Digital Catapult Centre Northern Ireland helps organisations across public and private sectors, to increase innovation and productivity by utilising digital technologies. We work closely with a network of organisations from all over Northern Ireland, who share in the mission of supporting Northern Ireland based companies scale and grow.
Our focus is on helping organisations work smarter, more efficiently and ultimately become more productive by realising and implementing innovative digital technologies. We promote a connected network to spearhead innovation and collaboration and provides access to other organisations in the wider Digital Catapult network.
Digital Catapult Centre Northern Ireland works closely with leading research universities; Queens University and Ulster University, as well as industry organisations; Catalyst Inc., Matrix, Invest NI and Digital Circle to help springboard NI into global markets.
At Code Club, we think all children should have the opportunity to learn to code, no matter who they are or where they come from. To do this, we support a nationwide network of volunteers and educators who run free coding clubs for children aged 9-11 to build and share their ideas, learning along the way. Currently we have 207 active Code Club’s in Northern Ireland.

The Mobile Academy
The Mobile Academy is a short course about Design, Technology & Business for the complex Mobile eco-system (apps, mobile-optimised web sites, mCommerce, IoT, Wearables and more) hosted by Mobile Monday Belfast and Ulster University’s School of Computing & Mathematics. This course was designed for tech, business and design professionals in NI who want to work in a mobile-influenced business, hatch a new product/business idea, bring mobile know-how into their organisation, and move their career forward. Every Wednesday on 10/17/24 May and 7/14 June there will be 6 hours of tuitions and ample time for group work, a strong point of the course, delivered by top NI practitioners with huge experience in the mobile eco-system and a few senior lecturers from Ulster University.
VRNI Limited is proud to present RETNE an immersive experience that creates an original and compelling VR environment for HTC Vive. It incorporates high quality animation, state of the art immersive audio and an original storyline that makes for a truly unique user journey. The user will adopt the role of a tourist. The tourist is about to embark on a magical journey through virtual reality, visiting fabulous attractions in the new world that surrounds them, accompanied by a quirky tour guide. Playful and interactive, RETNE engages the user to start and progress their VR journey using humour, sensory and interactive triggers. Central to RETNE is your tour guide “Lil Mo”, who has been voiced by actor Michael Smiley. The user must perform quests within the VR experience to reveal hidden secrets and special effects. RETNE really is out of this world, wholly consuming the senses from start to finish.
